At Lady L Cannabis, we believe in creating a space where everyone feels safe, seen, and celebrated. That’s not just a tagline — it’s our everyday mission. And when we talk about being rooted in community, we’re talking about all the communities that make Jersey City vibrant, diverse, and full of love — especially our LGBTQ+ family.
This Pride Month (and every month), we’re turning up the volume on joy, visibility, and cannabis as a tool for healing, expression, and self-love.
🌈 Why Pride Matters to Us
Pride isn’t just a party. It’s a protest, a celebration, and a reminder that everyone deserves to be who they are, fully and freely. For queer and trans folks — especially Black and Brown LGBTQ+ individuals — that freedom is still something we have to fight for.
Cannabis culture, at its best, mirrors queer culture: bold, expressive, resilient, and rooted in chosen family. And let’s not forget: LGBTQ+ activists were instrumental in pushing forward medical cannabis access in the 1990s — it’s part of the legacy.
